About Me

I'm a Year 2 student in Republic Polytechnic pursuing a Diploma in Media Production and Design, whose interests lie in video editing, graphic design, motion graphicsfilming, and photography! I adopt a friendly and collaborative working style, and I enjoy working on projects where I can bring ideas to life in a way that feels both meaningful and is visually coherent.

When it comes to work, I'm logical and systematic. I like to plan things out first, but along the way, adapt spontaneously. In terms of style, I like to keep things clean and minimal, but I'm willing to experiment out of my comfort zone and explore different styles which is something I'm working on. I hold myself to high expectations and always try my best to live up to them.

Being the Captain of my CCA in secondary school (Volleyball), has taught me to deeply value teamwork and honesty. Working with people who have different strengths and personalities has showed me that a group only moves forward when everyone trusts each other, communicates openly, and contributes with the same goal in mind. These traits are always something that I look out for in a group setting as I believe these traits lead to smoother workflow and better work quality

In the creative industry, teamwork and honesty are just as important. Projects often involve many moving parts such as designers, editors, writers, producers, clients, etc. And everyone relies on each other to deliver their part on time, while meeting a certain standard. Strong teamwork keeps everyone aligned and reduces communication, which is crucial when deadlines need to be met as soon as possible.

Honesty on the other hand, plays a massive role as well. Whether it's giving feedback or owning up to mistakes, honesty builds trusts within a team. And in creative work, this transparency is vital as it allows people to improve themselves, refine ideas, and maintain healthy relationships with one another.

I work mainly using Adobe software programs such as Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign, but also Davinci Resolve

In the filming projects and productions I have done, I have tried out multiple different roles which include:

Film Projects: Scriptwriter, Camera Operator, Camera Assistant, Audio Operator, Talent.

Film Productions: Vision Mixer, Camera Operator, Media Operator, Computer Graphics (CG) Operator, Talent.
